Goal Directed Valsalva Equipment

Our medical director would like us to start doing goal directed valsalva maneuvers. I like the idea of less variability and better outcomes for the HCM patients. Beyond that, I'm not sure where to start in purchasing the equipment and what is a one time use item. If your lab does these could you help me out? I'm also sure infection prevention would have a say in this.

Thank you

We have been using a sphygmomanometer and attached an oxygen extension tubing to the device instead of the traditional tools. It has been very effective and low cost. We throw the extension tubing away after one use and clean the connecting point. We also make sure we are not using a mercury based tool.

Thank you,
